Audio Adventures is an audiobook rental club which rents out over 6,000 titles at their 650 travel centers located on major highways throughout the United States. While each travel center has a different selection of titles, almost all of them are on cassette with some centers that have CDs and videos. Most of these travel centers are located in gas stations where you can buy an annual membership for $5 and then rent an audiobook for 7 days. To rent an audiobook costs from $3.90 to $13.50, and there is a 50 cent late fee for every day after the 7 day rental period. Aimed particularly at travelers and truck drivers, the Audio Adventures website has a map of the United States where you can click on a state and see the travel centers located there, and they also have a guide to travel centers located on specific U.S. highways.
