Charles Dawson "Daws" Butler (November 16, 1916 – May 18, 1988) was a voice actor originally fromToledo, Ohio. He worked mostly for Hanna-Barbera and originated the voices of many familiar animated cartoon characters, including Yogi Bear, Quick Draw McGraw, Snagglepuss, and Huckleberry Hound.

Daws Butler was more than the greatest voice actor or a prolific writer. He was a kind and giving man, a teacher, who nurtured the talents of many who are now successfully working in show business today. From 1975 to 1987, Daws conducted acting workshops from the two-story garage he converted into a recording studio.
