Included in this collection are selections read by the series’ producers, Doreen Rappaport and Susan Kemplar, about renowned cultural anthropologist Margaret Mead, former first lady Eleanor Roosevelt, feminist writer Betty Friedan, and Shirley Chisolm, the first African American woman elected to Congress.
