Robert Kaplan is a correspondent for the Atlantic Monthly and the author of ten books on international affairs and travel. His books have been read by both Pres. Bill Clinton and Pres. George W. Bush. Mr. Kaplan has been a consultant to the U.S. Army's Special Forces Regiment, the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Marines.
