Studs Terkel talks with poet Allen Ginsberg in this 1976 interview. They talk about what has changed in America since their first chat in 1959. Ginsberg gives his thoughts on the anti-war movement and what had become of the counterculture in the 1970s. He has much to say about Buddhism and meditation in this chat. Always the activist, Terkel is concerned about the turning inward of progressives and worried about what will come of activism. Ginsberg cheerfully reminds him that we're all doomed and that none of us know anything!
