LearnOutLoud.com Review
Author Ray Bradbury joined Fresh Air to provide an optimistic look at the future in 1988. He tells Terry Gross about how he became interested in writing and highlights some of the accomplishments of his career. At the time, he had just released a short story collection called
The Toynbee Convector
, and Gross asks him about several stories from the collection. Bradbury claims that most of his predictions about the future have come true, highlighting the space travel and moon landing that he wrote about shortly before they happened. And he foresees a positive future in space travel to Mars and beyond!
