A Vindication of the Rights of Woman by 18th-century British feminist Mary Wollstonecraft is one of the earliest works of feminist philosophy. It was published in 1792 and the work called for women to be educated beyond their domestic duties, along with many other reforms elevating the rights of women. On a side note, Mary Wollstonecraft was the mother of Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin, who would later become Mary Shelley, and author the book Frankenstein.
