Wadhwa is the author of the book The Driver in the Driverless Car: How Your Technology Choices Create the Future. Some of the subjects he touches upon include advances in monitoring our health, artificial intelligence, solar energy, driverless cars, and other areas of technological advance that he predicts will happen by 2027. He's mostly optimistic about the future of technology, but does acknowledge the dark side which is probably going to mean massive unemployment and a loss of meaningful work for many people as artificial intelligence continues to take over our jobs. It's an interesting examination of how technology might impact our world in the near future.
