LearnOutLoud.com Review
In this speech delivered in 1966 black activist Stokely Carmichael addresses many of the issues facing blacks in the United States and suggestions for what blacks should do about it. Similar to Malcolm X, Carmichael focuses on black unification apart from cooperation with whites and he advocates radical action in order to express the black man's freedom. He criticizes the civil rights movement as a movement to console white people while not really dealing with the oppression of black people.
