LearnOutLoud.com Review
In August of 1966 comedian Lenny Bruce passed away at the age of 40 from a drug overdose. Earlier that year in February he gave this funny freewheeling talk at UCLA. In the recording Lenny Bruce talks about obscenity which he was arrested on charges of numerous times in the 1960s. He discusses the laws around obscenity and why they exist. Bruce also throws out opinions about politicians, civil rights, drugs, religion, and many other topics, along with answering some questions from the crowd. It's not the most coherent lecture, but it's certainly good for some laughs and to give you an idea of what Lenny Bruce was thinking about in the last year of his life.
