Answerable and Unanswerable Questions

These are just some of the fascinating questions posed in this book, which stretches across physics, the life sciences and cosmology. Each chapter considers a separate question and ends with either an answer or, if there is insufficient evidence, a 'best guess' answer.

Dr Peter Altman trained as a biochemist and now works as a science writer and speaker. His areas of special interest include cosmology, biochemistry and photography. He is the founder and chairman of the Bricket Wood Science Group and a member of the Magic Circle in London.
