In this lecture released on audio by Intercollegiate Studies institute, Russell Kirk, a man perhaps most famous for shaping modern conservative thought with his book The Conservative Mind shares another passion: Ghost stories.
Starting his lecture by first musing on how all good ghost stories in his estimation must have a religious underpinning, Kirk then talks of a moment he had with a ghost he met in St. Andrews, Scotland. From there he reads a ghost story he wrote himself. A firm believer in Ghosts and a playful speaker, this lecture is a great example of Kirk's multifaceted interests. That, and you get a great ghost story!
